Allison Birmingham

Dates: 2 August 2025

Location: Croatia

Specialty: Power Vinyasa, Recovery Restore (Yin) & Yoga Sculpt

Allie is passionate about all things health, wellness, nervous system regulation, and the uniqueness of each individual body. She approaches her teaching from a playful and curious perspective, always prioritizing the safety of her students in all her practices.

Allie completed her 200-hour YTT at Samadhi Sangha Yoga in 2022, her 50-hour Yoga Sculpt training at Yoga Box in 2023, a 20-hour Recovery Restore (Yin) training, and a 30-hour Trauma-Informed Teacher Training with Y7 in 2019.

Allie began practicing vinyasa hot yoga in 2016 to regulate and align her body and breath. As someone who struggles with anxiety, she became deeply inspired by the mind-body connection. She started feeling more comfortable and safe in her body, noticed shifts in negative patterns, and saw herself evolve as a person. Rod Stryker says it best: “If practiced correctly, yoga asana breaks down the psychological, emotional, physical, energetic, and psychic obstacles that inhibit us from thriving.” Through her practice, Allie learned to move through life with greater intention and to consistently activate her most powerful, renewable resources: movement and breath.

Allie feels most comfortable and confident teaching power vinyasa, where she blends inner and outer body strength, creativity, and curiosity, with an element of play. One of the biggest reasons her practice grew and evolved was the reminder to play, laugh, make mistakes, fall, get back up, and truly embody the word ‘practice’. She offers a challenging practice with creative sequencing, music, and beat-driven movement. Expect a musical range from sad dad anthems (think The National and Pearl Jam) to nostalgic pop-punk, synth pop, and indie. The range is real.

She invites you to join her practice for a passionate and intense, yet approachable and fun exploration of self.
